Business Ownership
Business success can be measured in a number of ways--it is a very personal accomplishment. At the same time, there are certain areas upon which most people can agree: A successful business should make, not lose, money. It should have a growing customer base and a secure oulook for the foreseeable future. And, for the business owner, it should provide a certain amount of pride and satisfaction.
Each business has its own unique set of issues and challenges just as each business owner has his or her own unique set of goals. However, many areas of concern are common to any type of business. The following pages will cover those common areas: the nuts & bolts of owning a business, financial matters, marketing, management, troubleshooting, and small business resources. |
