Delta Psi General Meeting Minutes

February 16th, 2010

Nicole called the meeting to order at 4:10pm

 

Board Members Present: Mark Smith, Nicole Paiste, Maryann Sandoval, Samantha Sprague, Alma Masic, Elizabeth Godoy, Ed Torres.

Board Members Absent: Jorge Montanez

 

Brian R. moved and Elizabeth G. seconded to approve the agenda. Discussion. Motion carried.

Minutes of February 9th tabled to February 23rd, 2010.

Trivia questions tabled for February 23rd, 2010.

 

Comments from the public: Linda asked about the trivia questions being posted late. Nicole informed that the trivia is tabled until 2/23 meeting.

Old Business:

 

Safe Sex Basket raffle recap: made approximately $300, the winner was: John Thorpe.

Quad Sales: made approximately $60 on Feb 16th.

Homeless Shelter Project List: Nicole put handouts of most needed items for the project. All items due by March 9th.

Rocky Horror Picture Show February recap: awesome turn out, thank you all for coming and participating. Club made approximately $80.

Family Night February 18th: set up will start at 4:30pm; the event is from 5:30pm to 7pm, arts and crafts, reading books and dressing up in pajamas. Julius, Brian and Annie are chair.

 

New Business:

 

Psycho Theater March 11th: General members voted to show Couples Retreat. Members were asked to sign up with Mark for poster committee.

iPod raffle: Brian motioned for raffle tickets to be sold during the Club Rush from 2/22/10 to 2/26/10 Charlie second. Discussion. Motion carried.

 

Asparagus Festival: is April 24th, 25th, 26th, 2010 please see Samantha and Nicole for sign ups.

 

Raffle winners: Amanda, Katherine, Teresa, Julius.

 

Informational Items/Updates:

Brian Ratto-Delta CELTIC Club is having it’s first meeting March 2nd, from 2pm to 3pm Shima 117

 

Future Agenda:

Xavier from ASBG-March 4th Black Thursday downtown.

 

Amanda moved and Brian seconded to adjourn the meeting. Motion carried. Meeting adjourned at 4:40pm.
