Janet Pedersen, Classified Senate Vice President is our 4CS North President. She acts as the regional liaison between the Area Representatives and the 4CS President. She oversees the Area Representative responsibilities, which includes disseminating information, updating the directory, and arranging meetings between Area Representatives and colleges.
As the 4CS North President Janet co-chairs the Classified Leadership Institute (CLI). She is also the Chairperson of the Conference Committee, Chairperson of the Awards Committee and Chairperson of the Elections Committee.

Classified Leadership Institute (CLI)
The annual Classified Leadership Institute (CLI) conference focuses on the positive aspects of classified involvement in the shared governance process both state wide and at the local district and college levels. Participants will explore topics that develop the skills, confidence and encouragement to be stronger leaders on their campuses. Activities include both interactive and informational sessions with ample time for networking and practicing leadership skills in a supportive environment. Classified Leaders, Leadership Scholars, Outstanding Employees, Model Senates and Excellent Websites are all a part of our Awards and Recognition program at each year!
