Using pseudo codes, you can quickly reference your account. When you are in an account field, you may enter a pseudo code, followed by tab. The system will display a dialog box that shows all of the segments of your account. Since your pseudo code represents one and only one account combination, you may select the combinations icon. – located in the upper left corner of your screen.
Note: When you press the combinations button, the system returns a "Find" screen (below) that looks almost identical to the "Accounting Flexfield" screen (shown above). The "Find" screen is displayed directly over the "Accounting Flexfield" screen. The "Find" screen allows you to reduce your selection criteria by filling in more fields. The system does not know that SJDC has set up the PSEUDO field to return a single account combination.
At this point, you need only to press the enter key (Selecting the [OK] button will do the same.)
The system fills the account number with all of its segments.
