Thesis Topic:  John Adams,  Thesis Statement:  John Adams once said that statues would not be erected in his honor, a prediction that remains essentially true. While no revolutionary made a greater contribution to the founding of the United States, he is not remembered quite as highly as Jefferson, Washington, or Franklin and the fault lies squarely upon Adams himself.
