Thesis Topic: The Middle-Class Thesis Statement: The on going American experiment in Democratic government has produced incredible social changes and innovations probably well beyond the expectations of the individuals who founded the United States of America. At the time of the American Revolution the colonial social structure still greatly resembled that of the mother country but around the time of the deaths John Adams and Thomas Jefferson a new American social revolution was on the rise. This social revolution was the arrival of the American invention of the "middle-class."
