District Daily Enrollment: Spring • Fall • Summer
The San Joaquin Delta College Office of Planning, Research, and Institutional Effectiveness (PRIE) coordinates a variety of planning and research activities in support of the District's mission, vision, strategic goals, and objectives. In addition, the PRIE Dean is responsible for planning and programming for the District.
The District's strategic and long-range planning activities are guided by the principles of Appreciative Inquiry (AI) and the Accrediting Commission for Community and Junior Colleges/Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC). PRIE leads activities that include comprehensive Distrtict and community involvement in the development, implementation, monitoring, assessment of annual and long-range plans that integrate human resources, facilities, and technology/equipment needs in a financial plan.
The District's research function is guided by the principles of quality institutional research as outlined by the Research and Planning (RP) Group, the California Association of Institutional Research (CAIR), and the Association of Institutional Research (AIR). The Dean coordinates the District-wide research function including annual and ongoing research projects, required reporting to state and federal agencies, and the development of research tools and training for faculty and staff.
