2. Can I take courses at both Pacific and Delta at the same time?
Although it is possible to do so, it is not advised to attend San Joaquin Delta College and the University of the Pacific concurrently. Four upper division courses each semester at Pacific is a heavy load; dividing study time between Pacific and Delta would allow focused concentration to neither.

5. How much can I expect to earn after completing the program?
There is a wide range of careers available to those who have earned degrees in Early Childhood Education; because of this, the salary ranges can vary extensively. Generally speaking, the amount that can be earned will depend on many factors, such as career choice, area of specialization, and whether the job is in the public or private sector. It is always a good idea to do some research on the area of specialization you are interested in.
6. How can I prepare for the program?
In addition to taking the appropriate coursework at Delta College, the University of the Pacific has developed a 1-unit course to serve as a bridge between Delta and Pacific in order to prepare students for the program. Ideally, this course will be taken after completion of Delta College’s coursework and prior to starting at the University of the Pacific.
7. How long does it take to complete the program?
Approximately 15 months when completing all the courses offered within the prescribed course of study.
