Conference Champions

2004, 2005, 2006

During the past three years, the Delta College Men's Basketball team has amassed an overall record of 81-15 which includes a conference record of 36-4. This has resulted in 3 consecutive Conference Championships (2 Bay Valley and last year's inaugural Big 7 title), a Sweet Sixteen appearance, an Elite Eight appearance and a Final Four appearance. Further, the Mustangs have had the Conference Most Valuable Player 3 years in a row (Kavin Young, Chris Walker, and Kevin Bland). Walker and Bland both were voted Most Valuable Player in Northern California and Co-Player of the Year in the State (this is the third time in the past seven years the Mustangs have had the State Co-Player of the Year as Philip Ricci garnered this honor in 2000).

Carl Ross and Mike Kirby were also named to the Big 7 All-Conference team with Kirby also being named Honorable Mention All-State.
