     (READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS BELOW)

 

The POST Academy will be testing on April 10, 2010, for the 2011 San Joaquin Delta College Basic Peace Officer Academy "Extended Format" (January to September) and the Fall 2010 Peace Officer Academy Orientation class (November to December).

How do I Sign-up For the Test?

1.  Meet the minimum selection standards for employment as a peace officer in California (click here).

2.  Sign-up for the examination by printing the attached examination notice (click here) and submit the completed form to the Public Safety Office by U.S. mail or in person no later than Wednesday, April 7, 2010.

4.  What If I Have a Passing T-Score From Another Testing Agency for the POST Entry-Level Law Enforcement Test Battery Examination?

• Your test score MUST BE a Total T-Score of 42.0 or higher.
• The test date MUST BE LESS than 1 year old.
• You MUST TAKE AND PASS the REPORT WRITING portion of the Delta College examination.
• Submit a copy of your T-Score result letter on the TESTING AGENCIES LETTERHEAD to the Public Safety Office along with your testing notice form.

**You will NOT RECEIVE a reminder or confirmation of receipt for your examination sign-up form from the Public Safety Office. It will be YOUR responsibility to attend the examination and arrive at LEAST 15 MINUTES early for check-in and bring a Valid Photo ID. The door will be locked at 8:30 A.M. sharp!  Late ARRIVALS WILL NOT BE ADMITTED into the examination!**

5.  New Delta College students OR current Delta College students who have not attended in the past six months MUST complete the online application process during the Summer 2010 or Fall 2010 Intersession periods.
