Officer Brian Doty

Officer Brian Doty has been a sworn Police Officer with the Delta College Police Department since August 2002.
Prior to his policing career, Officer Doty received a B.A. in Criminal Justice from California State University Stanislaus. After graduating, Officer Doty was hired by the San Joaquin County Sheriff as a Correctional Officer.
In March 2002, Officer Doty was promoted to Deputy Sheriff after successfully completing the Modesto Junior College Basic Peace Officer Academy in Modesto, CA. Officer Doty remained with the San Joaquin County Sheriff Office, until he was hired by the Delta College Police Department.
In June 2003 and 2004, Officer Doty represented himself and the Delta College Police Department as a participant in the Police and Fire Olympics. Officer Doty is a very dedicated bicyclist. Whenever the weather is permitting, he is out doing bike patrol in the parking lots and on the interior of the campus. In addition to patrol duties, Officer Doty has the following accomplishments:
