The Professional Development Center offers high quality programs and services that develop a passion for learning, promote access, student success, and positive student learning outcomes, and support excellence, service, innovation, and leadership throughout the classified staff, faculty, and management.

The Professional Development Center staff, who report directly to the Assistant Superintendent/Vice President of Instruction, support the online faculty by providing training in course management systems, workshops on best practices in distance education, and by providing instructional and technology support to students and faculty.

The Professional Development Center assists all college staff as they:

• Identify and achieve their educational, personal and career goals;
• Develop the skills and knowledge of their chosen disciplines;
• Acquire the skills necessary for lifelong learning;
• Engage collaboratively and effectively in understanding the cultural, social and environmental diversity of the college, our community and the world;
• Use and apply technology appropriately;
• Develop effective and responsible leadership skills.

Office Hours
Monday - Thursday: 9:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.
Friday: 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
