In order to continue to qualify for EOPS beyond the 70 associate degree applicable units, or six (6) semester limitation to eligibility, you must satisfy the following conditions:
- Be nearing the completion of your stated educational objective (i.e. certificate, associate degree, or lower division "major" prerequisites for university transfer).
- Adhered to your EOPS counselor developed Student Educational Plan.
- Complied with the requirements of the EOPS Mutual Responsibility Contract for the (2) most recent consecutive semesters, and have met all the required program contacts for the term for which you are requesting an extension of EOPS eligibility.
- Not on academic or progress probation and have a cumulative Grade Point Average (GPA) of 2.00 or better, and expect to achieve a term GPA of 2.00 or better in the semester for which you are requesting an extension of EOPS eligibility.
- Have satisfactorily completed a minimum of 6 or more units in the (2) most recent consecutive semesters, and maintained satisfactory academic progress, including completed 6 or more units in the semester for which you are requesting an extension.
