The Center for Microscopy and Allied Sciences

The new microscopy building at San Joaquin Delta College took many years and a lot of hard work to bring to completion. The EM program had far outgrown its laboratory space. In order for the program to expand to be able to take in more students a new building was needed. Through the determination of former biological instructor Dr. Judy Murphy, much of the funding was found to make the building a reality. Students and staff now have room to teach and learn in a safe, high-tech environment.
