If funding is available, CalWORKs students may be eligible for on-campus or off-campus, paid work study positions through the CalWORKs Work Study program. This is an excellent opportunity for students to gain valuable, hands-on experience while still participating in an education training program. Work study income is exempt from calculation of the CalWORKs cash aid and the hours worked in a work study job count toward the 32/35 hour per week CalWORKs requirement.
