When the CalWORKs budget allows, funding for childcare in the college's Child Development Center may be available to students who can reserve space for their children, who are enrolled in 6 units or more, and who are currently receiving cash assistance (TANF). Students must provide a current Passport to Services each semester before receiving CalWORKs childcare assistance. Childcare is available for class time as well as time spent in other CalWORKs work-related activities.
