ENG 053 - Freelance Writing - Units 3

Prerequisite Skills: 1. Reading Level II.

This course is offered to the student seriously interested in pursuing the writing and publication of original works. These works may consist of fiction and non-fiction, including short stories, poems, novels, plays, screenplays, television scripts, children`s books, memoirs, biographies, magazine and newspaper articles, features, reviews, and columns. Emphasis is placed on the study of the writing craft for publication, creating and polishing quality and marketable work, developing marketing tools, and offering constructive criticism of peers` work.
