New Student Enrollment Process

1. Apply for Admission

New Students must use our Online Application for admission to the college before registering for classes.

A New Student is defined as:

  • An individual who has never attended San Joaquin Delta College
    OR
  • A student who has not attended for more than one semester

Students who are enrolled in high school and are recommended by their principal may be considered for the College Early Start Program.

Applications may be completed at the following locations:

Applications are processed 3-5 days after submission, once processed, Delta College will assign a student e-mail account to each new student.  All correspondence from Admissions and Records, Financial Aid, and other important campus information is e-mailed to students at their Delta College e-mail address.

After processing, students must login to Online Registration to obtain their Delta ID number. Students should use their social security number as the login and their date of birth entered as mmddyy as the password. Students should record both their Delta ID number and student email address for future reference. Read more information on how to find your email address.
